We Hear You—A Climate Archive is a global performance project exploring youth artist and activist perspectives on the climate emergency. Inspired by Greta Thunberg’s urgent question “Can you hear me?,” the project seeks to amplify—and record for future generations—the ways that today’s young people are experiencing changes in the fundamental forces of the earth. The project is a collaboration between Dramaten (Royal Dramatic Theatre of Sweden), The Earth Commons—Georgetown University’s Institute for Environment and Sustainability, Swedish Embassy in Washington, DC, and Laboratory for Global Performance and Politics and is co-conceived by Caitlin Nasema Cassidy and Jacob Hirdwall.
